Chesapeake Label sites in Bourne and Wrexham have just been awarded the new Investors in People (IIP) Bronze standard. This certification upgrades each site’s existing IIP status and recognises both sites have achieved an additional 26 requirements above the core IIP standard.

Chesapeake Newcastle has produced a striking range of sleeves using Impressions™ - a process for converting FibreForm®, a mouldable cartonboard material made by the specialist cartonboard manufacturer, BillerudKorsnäs. The four sleeve designs were produced for Kitchen Concepts for a leading Swedish brand of pasta, Paolos. The sleeves are the first printed packs to be launched on the market using this new material. They are printed in 8-colours plus a varnish and are deeply embossed. The brand is sold in major supermarkets throughout Sweden.
Chesapeake Limerick, part of Chesapeake’s Pharmaceutical and Healthcare division, is taking delivery of Europe’s first Komori GLX 740RP Carton printing press as part of a €4m investment programme at the site.
